CHALLENGE FUN RUN!
Saturday, March 28th, 9:00a - 10:30a
Meet at 9:00am at Edgewater Park (just over the bridge into West Mount Vernon) located at:
600 Behrens Millet Rd, Mount Vernon, WA 98273
Park in the parking lot.
REMEMBER TO WEAR YOUR RUNNING SHIRT!
Parents assisting with the run will be tracking your progress based on your jersey number.
Course Details:
We will be offering 3 course options: 1 mile, 2 mile, and 5K (3.1 mile).
These courses are all on paved trails/sidewalks and do not involve any road running.
Your runner will decide on Saturday morning which route they want to try.
We will begin and end near restrooms at the park.
The maps below approximate each course.
Parents are encouraged to remain on site to cheer their runner on (and provide a car to warm up in if need be).
It may be cold and wet, so we are thankful these courses are on paved trails to stay out of the mud.
Bring a stocking cap or beanie - it is a great way to conserve heat without the bulk of a lot of extra clothes.
Parents, family members, and siblings: You are welcome to participate and run the course!
We will need about 5 or 6 parent volunteers to post up at spots along the course to steer the runners in the right direction.
